March Madness 2006

Time is closing in quickly to send in your consignments. Our deadline of January 8th is firm if you want to be included in our LamaLink Ad, which will feature LlamaSalesList.Com on the cover of the March issue. This ad will only feature the females in March Madness because the males will not have been picked at that time. We will accept llamas after January 8, but they will not be included in any advertising we do, so it is to your advantage to consign by the deadline. If you can send us photos by January 8th and the application fee, we will accept the application up to January 15 without charging a late fee.

Newsletter Advertising

Advertising o readers can click on your link and visit your website, for exampin our newsletters is now available. These ads are linked, sle. The cost of the ads are reasonable. Full size ads will cost $75 (1X), $60 (2-6X), $50 (7-12X). Smaller size ads cost less - please inquire. In addition, we will start archiving the old newsletters on the LSL website, so your ads will be visible for quite some time. Ad materials will generally be due the first week of each month for that month's newsletter, but we'll be fairly flexible with this. We can design ads for you, and even create Flash (animated advertisements) - please inquire about the costs. SPECIAL 2 For 1 Offer - Advertise in the January Newsletter and get a FREE ad in the February Newsletter. This offer will expire January 1, 2006, so you must let us know before New Years Day.

Breeder's Directory

The Breeder's directory is underway. We are currently working on the following states: Virginia, Maryland, and West Virginia. The cost is just $60/year. If you live in one of these states and would like to be included, just contact us. You will be billed later. If you you sign up by December 31, you will get one FREE listing in the Herd Sire directory. This directory will become available in early January 2006. Each month we will announce which states we are working until all states are completed. The Breeders' Directory will list participating farms by state, including name, address, phone number, and email address. Email us if you want to see an example we are working on right now. Herd size and specialty may also be listed. This directory will be available on LlamaSalesList.Com, as well as a new website being created exclusively for this directory, called LlamaBreeder.Com. In addition, the directory will also be made available on CD at events that LlamaSalesList.Com attends. A new area we are taking on is to focus on bringing in new people to the llama industry. If you like the sound of that and want some referrals, then you want to take part in this with minimum financial investment.

Details are coming later, but for now, I just want to say that this directory will also be included on llamabreeder.com.

Farm of the Month

Ken and Ramona Simpson's farm, Bahama Llamas, from Virginia is the December Farm of the Month. We are looking for a farm that wants some public exposure as the January Farm of the Month. Cost is $99. Your page is still viewable even after the month ends. Contact us immediately if you are interested.

There may be a couple of farms having online sales consisting of just their llamas. Contact us for date availability if you are also interested in having us host a sale for you. Also note that we are not planning to run the Sizzlin' Summer Sale in 2006. It seems that there are a lot of sales during that time, and we would rather offer our sale at a different time. If something changes, we will announce it months in advance. Instead, we will have a Winter Sale in 2006.
